ARTILLERY FIRE CONTROL AND COMMAND SYSTEM

WB Electronics' most renowned product is its integrated Fire Control and Command System (FCS) for artillery. FCS is a multi-service, automated command and control system of mobile, versatile, communication nodes, providing automated planning and execution capabilities to field-artillery command posts, battery command posts, forward observers and individual guns.

These command, control, communication, computer and intelligence systems (C4I systems), are experiencing a rapid increase in demand in the military community worldwide.

TOPAZ ARTILLERY FIRE COMMAND SYSTEM

In 1994, the Polish Ministry of National Defence commissioned a research and development project from WB Electronics for the TOPAZ artillery fire command system, designed to bring Poland's artillery assets to international standards by using modern communication software.

TOPAZ has been successfully introduced to the Polish Army's land forces, and fielded throughout the country in a number of artillery regiments on 122mm and 152mm platforms.

TOPAZ is an advanced field-artillery tactical data system supporting the following field artillery functional areas:

Furthermore, WB Electronics manufactures a range of rugged military computers, terminals, cable-communication devices and vehicular-crew communication devices, allowing integration of virtually any mobile and fixed voice and data communication set-up with network-control functionality, unique parameters and flexibility.

FONET VEHICULAR INTERCOM SYSTEM

The FONET intercom system can be installed in any track or wheeled vehicle, to provide communication foundation to be used in a battlefield-management system. FONET, the digital, software-controlled and VoIP-enabled intercom, is the perfect communications solution for diverse military platforms ranging from MBTs, self-propelled guns and HMLVs to complex command and EW vehicles.

SOFAR MINI-UAV

WB Electronics is also present in the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) market, with its mini-UAV, named SOFAR. The SOFAR mini-UAV is the compact system for short-range image intelligence applications. SOFAR provides reliable real-time surveillance due to its high-quality video transmission.

It can be easily used for over-the-hill surveillance, special operations, fast reaction needs or urban operations. The SOFAR mini-UAV is also designed for reconnaissance missions to be the BMS or FCS extension.
