Cyviz - Display Walls for Defense and Civil Security

Cyviz is a leading manufacturer of premium security display walls for collaborative environments. We focus on the entire user experience, and extensive research and product development is invested in visualization technologies, advanced source handling and the user interface.

See it at the CTC

Cyviz differentiates itself by building and showcasing Cyviz Technology Centers (CTCs). At our CTCs we invite technology partners and content providers to contribute, allowing clients to experience real working environments that are complete and fully integrated with sources, video conferencing and data sharing. Our philosophy is to ‘walk the walk’, and subsequently aim to demonstrate best practice work-flows using content from world leaders in their respective fields.

No vendor in the industry invests in technology centers to the same degree, and this effort has been greatly appreciated by our international clients. It provides them with a way of better evaluating the potential benefits before investing in their own capabilities for collaborative environments, and it has also enhanced discussions on product development and standardization.

So far Cyviz has opened CTCs in Houston, Dubai (UAE) and Stavanger (Norway), and the company also has offices in Richmond VA and the United Kingdom.

New CTC in Washington

Washington will be the first CTC that is primarily dedicated towards defense and civil security. In addition to the cutting edge display walls from Cyviz, CTC Washington will be propped with the most potent processing power, communication technologies and applications available for the security industry.

We aim for CTC Washington to become an arena where key players in the defense industry can meet to test new ideas and share best practices. The centre is due to open in the second quarter of 2009.

High resolution command and control displays

The Cyviz Clusterwall is probably the most impressive high resolution display on the market place today. Applying 24/7 DLP projector technology, Cyviz delivers a razor-sharp image with uniformity in colours and brightness. The days of the cube systems with visible seams and checkerboard effect are definitely coming to an end.

The Cyviz Clusterwall is delivered custom made to a client’s resolution and dimensional requirements. Recent installations include a six mpx display for a NATO joint warfare center, a 15mpx display for Western Geco and a 47mpx display for Procter & Gamble. These are all clients with different operations who nevertheless share the same need for advanced handling of mission-critical applications.

Training and simulation systems

Cyviz has pioneered the world of stereo 3D since 1998, and has delivered in excess of 600 systems worldwide. The actual applications and the user experience is key, our job is merely to make it look spectacular. Cyviz delivers solutions for individual training, tactical team training and high level simulation.

Working across industries has taught us much about different work processes, and we see that the facilities we install often times are used by several divisions for multiple purposes. A training facility may also be used for collaboration with colleagues in different locations, situation analysis or surveillance, to name a few.
