LAPTOPS FOR EXTREME ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

Our Toughnote series of laptops has been engineered from the outset to be the most rugged in its field. Each major component is ruggedised from the inside out, enabling it to operate in the harshest environments.

A range of multimedia modules and wired and wireless connectivity options are available. These enable maximum performance wherever your work takes you.

Our in-house design capabilities provide an unrivalled level of customisation. Your Toughnote can therefore be manufactured to exactly meet your requirements.

With the ability to add an extra hot-swappable battery you can run the Toughnote laptops for over six hours non-stop.

The modular design of the Toughnote Series of laptops is quite unique. The sealed Flexi and hard drive bays prevent water and dust ingress into the machine core thereby maintaining the integrity of the motherboard. Rubber corners and covers for each port further prevent damage from dust and water.

The removable shock-mounted, waterproof 2.5in hard disk makes swapping data between machines and upgrading to a higher capacity HDD easy.

The Flexi-bay can hold either a secondary battery, DVD/CD RW, DVD-RW, CD-ROM or the FDD. All of these are removable and swappable.

TOUGHNOTE SERIES M RUGGED LAPTOP

The 13in LCD Toughnote Series M rugged laptop features new Dothan Pentium M 1.6GHz processors, advanced featureset and up to 2GB fast DDR RAM. It thus provides extremely high-quality levels of performance in the rugged computing field.

TOUGHNOTE SERIES M-15 RUGGED LAPTOP

The Toughnote series M-15 rugged laptop provides even higher levels of market-leading performance in the rugged computing field. It uses the latest Dothan Pentium M 1.6GHz or 1.8GHz processors and sophisticated featuresets. It comes with up to 2GB fast DDR RAM.

An option to add multiple military-grade I/O connectors makes the Toughnote series M-15 rugged laptop even more flexible. This feature adds options for waterproof connections to your peripherals. It also features a third drive bay for even more expansion and customisation possibilities.

TOUGHNOTE SERIES 4 RUGGED LAPTOP

The Toughnote Series 4 rugged laptop adds the following enhancements to the classic Toughnote chassis:

TOUGHNOTE DI-7 RUGGED TABLET COMPUTER

The Toughnote DI-7 is a new TerraLogic mini tablet computer ideal for the commercial and industrial markets.

The Toughnote DI-7 features the same environmental specifications as the Toughnote Series laptops, and makes performance ruggedised tablet computers a reality.

The Toughnote DI-7 has amazing expandability, with many additional features including onboard PCMCIA, USB and serial ports. Maximum portability is ensured by a weight of just 1.8kg.

TOUGHNOTE DM-7 RUGGED TABLET

The Toughnote DM-7 is a new TerraLogic mini tablet computer for the military and heavy industrial markets.

Featuring the same environmental specifications as our Toughnote Series laptops, the DM-7 finally makes performance ruggedised tablet computers for the extreme user a reality.

The Toughnote DM-7 also features amazing expandability, with features including onboard PCMCIA, USB and serial ports. It weighs just 1.8kg, guaranteeing maximum portability.

The Toughnote DM-7 is perfect for all types of conditions, as it operates in extremely low temperatures. It also possesses military connectors and extra EMI 461D protection.

MOBITOUGH RUGGED MOBILE PC

Designed primarily for use in vehicles, aeroplanes and boats where the available space is restricted, the MobiTough rugged mobile PC shares all the expandability of the Toughnote Series M laptop.

The MobiTough rugged mobile PC shares the same high level environmental specifications as the standard Toughnote units and comes with a variety of mounting and docking options.

The MobiTough rugged mobile PC comes in three user-configurable parts. The processing unit is housed in a sealed unit which can be stowed anywhere in your vehicle.

A DVI video cable of up to 10m leads to the remote 13in TFT monitor. The screen has inbuilt USB ports and touchscreen options.

Also available is an optional external backlit USB keyboard with integral two button trackpoint mouse.

The MobiTough rugged mobile PC shares the same high level environmental specifications as the standard Toughnote units and comes with a variety of mounting and docking options.

Options such as serial port upgrades, wireless LAN, backlit keyboard and GPRS can be added to the basic unit.
