FAMILY OF MULTIPLE PROCESSOR UNITS (MPU)

Ideally suited for airborne, shipboard and ground based tactical operations centers, with the requirement to fuse and display "stovepipe" software programs of mixed vintage and operating systems, GDC4S 4-Slice Rugged Multiple Processor Units provides versatile configurable platforms that consolidate up to four powerful Single-Board Computer (SBC) modules into a single chassis.

The MPUs are available in three variations: M-Slice Multiple Processor Unit (4S-MPU-2), Modular 4 Slice MPU Horizontal Front Loading (M4S-MPU-HFL) and Modular 4-Slice MPU (M4S-MPU).

XEON™ RUGGED SERVERS

GDC4S offers a variety of rugged Xeon™ servers for our army customers. These servers support true C3 on-the move applications through high performance processors packaged for mobile tactical environments.

Our 1U and 3U Cisc Servers are available in a form-factor for optimizing rack space and expandability requirements. The extended ATX form-factor motherboards ensure a long roadmap for technology insertion within the same installation footprint.

Our Dual Xeon™ Rugged Pentium® Workstation (RPW) provides the PC user with a powerful computing element for harsh military environments. This space-sensitive 4U form is mountable on a 19in rack.

18in RUGGED DISPLAYS

GDC4S rugged 18in Color Flat Panel Displays (CFPD) provide a compact, lightweight, energy efficient alternative to traditional CRT displays. The CFPDs offer a maximum resolution of 1,280 x 1,024 pixels and are an ideal complement to the advanced features of high-end computers, like our High Capacity and Transportable Computer Units (HCU and TCU). The 18in color flat panel display is available with an integrated keyboard.

RUGGEDIZED ROUTER AND SWITCHES

GDC4S ruggedized Cisco switches and routers are designed for mobile use in wheeled and tracked vehicles. The Cisco switches and routers core components are internally strengthened to meet the stringent shock and vibration requirements of MIL-STD-810F, while retaining the same industry standard interfaces of the commercial Cisco products.

RUGGED TABLET (RT)

GDC4S offers a uniquely qualified rugged tablet that provides military customers with an advanced state-of the art portable and rugged computing device. The lightweight, small form-factor, man-portable computer incorporates proven L-Band satellite transceiver, GPS and tactical radio modem interface and power management technologies with a large display and powerful 1.1GHz Pentium® Mobile processor for use by the mounted or dismounted combat leader for mission planning, situational awareness, and communications.

With a standard 1.1 GHz Pentium® Mobile processor and color 6.5in VGA or 8.4in SVGA daylight-readable, optically enhanced thin film transistor display with touch screen; the rugged tablet has the horsepower to run Solarisä X86, Windows or Linux applications, including the full FBCB2 v3.5.5.1 or 6.4.3 software.

Tested to MIL-STD-810F Environmental and MIL-STD-461D EMI specifications, the rugged tablet will survive the rigors of a battlefield including freezing temperatures, pouring rain, shock, vibration, dirt and humidity.
