The I-VC5 is a multi-functional in-vehicle computer system based on the Intel® Atom™ processor N450 platform. The fanless rugged I-VC5 is a full-featured computer system tailored for in-vehicle applications. It is designed to handle shock and vibration in mobile conditions, specifically inside vehicles. It can withstand harsh environments and operate in temperatures ranging from 0°C to 60°C. The system supports dual display for digital signage advertising outside the car or within the car as an in-vehicle computer screen.
The I-VC5 is designed with intelligent power management that supports 12V and 24V power inputs and is compatible with all types of vehicles, including motorcycles, cars, vans, buses and trucks.
The I-VC5 can be integrated with solutions and tools such as infotainment, navigation, tracking, high-speed 3G internet access, database access, incident reporting and fleet management. It is suitable for use in police cars, fire engines, cabs, couriers and buses and anywhere mobile data terminals are installed. Dimensions of the unit are 207.8mm(W) x 224.7mm(D) x 70mm(H).
The I-VC5 is available as a standard or customised in-vehicle PC option, providing proprietary solutions according to customer specified requirements.
The iKarPC-W08A vehicle PC has a compact 8in WVGA touchscreen with an 800x480 resolution, which is also sunlight readable (brightness 600nits). This capability enables screen content to be easily read even in harsh / direct sunlight. The touchscreen is also equipped with an auto-dimming feature allowing it to automatically adjust the screen brightness to suit the external light intensity.
The iKarPC-W08A utilises the low power consumption of the Intel Z510 1.1GHz processor, making it ideal for in-car and other mobile applications. The unit supports up to 4GB CompactFlash memory and also features an SSD slot for extra storage, both of which make the iKarPC W08A resistant to high levels of vibration.
This in-vehicle PC offers wireless communication over WLAN 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth, HSPA / UMTS, GPS and Quad-Band EDGE / GRPS / GSM, all of which ensure smooth data exchange for GPS and internet connectivity. Other features include 1 x RS232/422/485, 2 x USB, 1 x GB LAN and 1 x DB 9 Vehicle Bus Protocol OBD II. OBD II is a diagnostic system which records and displays malfunctions inside the vehicle. It provides an internal communications network that connects components inside a vehicle. It also provides an interface for users to get vehicle data for diagnostic purposes or travel information such as vehicle speed, engine loading, engine RPM and fuel levels.

Powered by Intel® Atom™ Z510PT with the US15WPT industrial grade processor and chipset, the WStrider-200A is able to operate in extreme temperatures from -30°C to 70°C. The built-in 802.11b/g/n module with IP67-compliant external antenna provides reliable high speed wireless connectivity.
