EXPLOSIVE DETECTION KIT

The EDK123 (Explosive Detection Kit) provides a fast reliable field test for detection of trace nitrates that are found in explosives including TNT, dynamite, Sentex, RDX, and ammonium nitrates. The EDK123 test kits are currently being used by American troops in Afghanistan and Iraq.

UNDER VEHICLE INSPECTION UNITS

The under vehicle inspection units view the underside of vehicles entering and exiting secure areas/facilities for explosive devices and contraband.

Our Under Vehicle Inspection (UVI) system provides a clear, high contrast real-time video inspection of the undercarriage of cars, vans and trucks at entry points in half the time of the standard inspection mirror search, with a higher percentage of target acquisitions in extended government field tests.

Operational in all climates, with quick installation and easy operation, the portable systems can be set up in under half and hour. Hundreds are in use at secure facilities worldwide.

MOBILE UNDER-VEHICLE INSPECTION SYSTEM

The 5591 series under vehicle inspection system is a rugged military grade system configured for maximum portability and reliability. The systems feature LEA's new water proof camera and lighting modules to allow dependable operation in the harshest of environments.

The system controller for the 5591 systems is rack mounted in a shock resistant aluminum carry / transport case. Also installed in the mil-spec case is a rack mount monitor (available in black and white or color). Our AF5591A kits combine this with an aluminum carry/transport case for the camera housing assembly to allow everything to be pack up in two cases for rapid deployment applications.

The portability of the 5591 series UVI systems allows greater flexibility in the use of the system. It can be quickly set-up or moved between locations to meet ever changing security needs. The 5591 systems are supplied with a non-slip rubber mat for use under the camera assembly to keep the unit in place on any road surface.

Posters on explosive and contraband detection are supplied with all UVI systems to aid the operator in identifying suspect devices or material. A rack mount VCR is also available to allow time lapse recording of vehicle inspections, or for frame-by-frame replay of the taped vehicle undercarriage for a more through inspection.
