Jacksons, a family-run business, was established in 1947. We are one of the UK's leading suppliers of security fencing, timber fencing, gates, barriers and automated access control systems.

We offer on-site surveys, a complete technical service for customised solutions, automation packages and a nationwide delivery and installation service for our security fencing.

SECURITY FENCING

Barbican® steel-paling security fencing is a total fencing system which is easy to install and impregnable when complete. The square Barbican pales are inserted through the top and bottom rails and welded; there are no rivets to be forced and the paling cannot be removed.

There are no obvious joins, and our unique vandal-proof connectors make it impossible to remove Barbican security fencing's panels.

HIGH-SECURITY FENCING

High-security Barbican fencing is available – our Defender range, which has the tops of the pales cranked to prevent climbing in or out of the site. Gates are available to match this high-security fencing.

SECURITY EXTRAS

Our security extras can be fitted above any type of security fencing, gate or building to deter even the most persistent intruder or defeat the most determined climber. We offer both rotating steel security blades and a three-dimensional security barrier.

ROTATING STEEL SECURITY BLADES

Rota-Spike® has fearsome, sharp, rotating steel blades on a steel tube offering insurmountable protection against intruders.

THREE-DIMENSIONAL SECURITY BARRIER

Viper Spike® forms a three-dimensional barrier through strong 160mm long 10mm diameter spikes with sharp points to prevent would-be climbers.

FULLY ALARMED ELECTRIC FENCE

Alarm-aFence is a fully integrated system only available through Jacksons. This fully alarmed electric fence deters intruders by giving a short, sharp non-lethal shock. The control unit detects break-ins and alerts you to the attempted intrusion. The Alarm-aFence fully alarmed electric fence can be fitted to most perimeter fencing or used as a stand-alone electric fence within the perimeter.

JAKTRONIC SECURITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Also available is the Jaktronic security management system, which provides ultimate perimeter protection.

A comprehensive solution of security fencing, control cameras, access control, pagers, VMD and SMS, the Jaktronic security management system has a low false-alarm rate and can be installed on existing security fencing.

AUTOMATION AND ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS

Our commercial automation and access-control systems are available with high-level safety. The many advantages of automated gates and barriers are now widely recognised for both public and commercial premises, and private estates.

Sliding gates save on opening space and do not restrict access, and are available in cantilever, tracked and telescopic options. Barriers, high-speed bi-folding gates, road blockers and automatically rising bollards are also available, to tailor our automation and access-control systems to your requirements.

CUSTOMISED SECURITY FENCING SOLUTIONS

We offer project-specific security fencing solutions, which are backed up with years of experience and a 25-year service life guarantee. We integrate automation equipment with manufactured gates which are security designed, manufactured and installed with style. All of our steel products are heavily galvanised to BS EN 1461.

We also have our own polyester powder-coating plant at Ashford, ensuring our security fencing has extra-long life and comes in a full range of RAL and British-standard colours.
