04 May 2005 12:55
Comm Port introduces it new UVSS models. The new models have been developed and designed to include both customer's suggestions and requests. As you will see in the information below, the new models have been designed to be very flexible. Whether you are buying your first UVSS system, integrating a UVSS into your current system, require a simple analog/digital viewing/recording system or a more complex PC based system, the new UVSS models will meet your requirements.
The new models have increased performance, are easier to install using standard video and power cables. The positions of the camera/light modules can be adjusted or protective covers replaced, without the use of any tools.
Camera and light modules can now be replaced by any users.
The new inspection equipment can be connected to standard video recorders / monitors or connected to computer systems containing UVSS software offered by Comm Port or other companies.
Additionally, the new inspection ramp has been designed so the customer can determine the number of camera / lights they require and the location they are to be installed in the inspection ramp. Of course the camera / light units can be relocated inside the ramp as required by the user.
- The cameras and light modules are separated from each other to reduce the amount of heat located in the camera housing.
- The camera / light modules have 4mm scratch proof lens. The customer can replace the lens whenever they want.
- A maximum combination of 20 camera / light modules can be installed in the inspection ramp. The number of camera / light modules can be changed at any time. The camera / light units can be installed in the inspection ramp at various intervals.
- The camera / light modules are installed on flexible stainless steel mounts. The flexible mount permits the camera / light modules to move further behind the protective metal cover if struck by an object.
- The user can replace the camera / light modules or metal covers that have been damaged, within minutes without the need for any tools.
- The camera / light modules are not located on the approach side of the inspection ramp. The approach side of the ramp is the impact side used to reduce the speed of the approaching vehicle. Placing the camera / light modules on the opposite side reduces possible damage during initial impact with the vehicle.
- The camera / light modules are set into place in the inspection ramp; no screws or tools are required to adjust the location or position of the camera or to remove the module covers.
- The inspection ramp frame has been designed for installation on both cement and asphalt. The inspection ramp fits into a 5cm-deep slot cut into the road surface which prevents the ramp from moving.
- The model 6-inspection ramp comes into two basic widths lengths. Model 6L is 2,690mm wide and model 6S is 1,475mm wide. Custom widths, model 6C, are available upon request.
- Standard cables can be used to connect the inspection ramp to the monitoring equipment.
- The inspection ramp can be connected to standard video equipment.
