NICO-Pyrotechnik Merges with Rheinmetall Waffe Munition Gmbh

Rheinmetall subsidiary NICO-Pyrotechnik Hanns-Jürgen Diederichs GmbH & Co. KG, of Trittau, has merged with Rheinmetall Waffe Munition GmbH from Ratingen. The merger took effect on 7 August 2006, backdated to 1 January 2006 for financial purposes.
With their range of products being first and foremost used by police tactical response units and special forces of the armies, Rheinmetall Waffe Munition GmbH - Branch Nico Trittau forms an important part of the Protective Systems and Pyrotechnics product group of Rheinmetall's Weapon Munition division.
Founded in 1949, the company has earned a global reputation for top-quality products. Their extensive ranges of non lethal and 40mm ammunition are product highlights within a vast scope of pyrotechnic stores. As a member of the Rheinmetall family since 1970, the company has benefited from being part of one of the world's foremost manufacturers of military hardware and law-enforcement equipment.
