Ballistic and blast-protective light armored vehicles

Created to be a multi-functional and adaptable light armored vehicle (LAV), the Spartan has been designed and built to not only withstand ballistic assault, but also protect against light mine-blast, IED-blast and grenade-blast scenarios. The Spartan LAV from Streit is the only operational support vehicle you will need to get the job done.

Aggressive in stance, and with the option to install 4x4 capability, the Spartan is as nimble as a standard-sized pickup. The Spartan LAV is also extremely adaptable: it is as capable of returning fire in a convoy-escort assault scenario as it is comfortable to drive on patrol in tight urban areas.

Armored military vehicle manufacturing facility

Streit Manufacturing features a fully certified engineering team, a full-sized machine shop and over 35,000ft² of manufacturing space. Streit Manufacturing's machine shop utilizes the latest and greatest technology in the form of a Trumpf CNC laser cutter that is capable of machining through 1in of hardened steel, as well as a state-of-the-art, brand-new Trumpf CNC 320,000lb press brake. Our machine shop has the capacity to create six ballistic protection kits each day for any of our vehicles.

The manufacturing facility houses the Streit Group's head office, a full paint and spray booth and 25 vehicle bays capable of housing even the most demanding contracts and ensuring exceptionally fast production times.
