Stoof International is able to supply its clients with a security armoured limousine which is internationally recognised and available in various levels of ballistic protection. Its two main applications are the prevention of street crime and kidnapping, and protection of passengers in high-risk or war-zone regions.
With the ongoing trend of globalisation and the continuing easing of international boundaries, modern-day passengers find themselves frequently travelling in regions of civil unrest and insecure environments. While threat levels fluctuate with current tensions, personal security must remain a constant factor.
ARMOURED LIMOUSINE
Stoof International's armoured limousine, which is based upon the Mercedes-Benz S-class 500 and 600 series, is a world-wide recognised symbol of accomplishment as well as success. Vehicles are exclusively built according to the specific security arrangements desired by the client or requesting authority.
The vehicle portrays a luxurious elegance while at the same time inconspicuously retaining its integrated security features.
We have physically built discretion into our security concept.
ALL-ROUND ARMOURED PROTECTION
One of the main challenges in constructing an armoured vehicle in the upper luxury class is to be able to integrate the protection features while at the same time retaining the vehicles discretion and natural handling characteristics.
Ballistic integrity has to be incorporated within the body structure without making an obvious statement. The vehicle's ideology is based upon the safe-cage concept, meaning that opaque and transparent protection materials have been built within the body shell to provide all round protection.
MULTI-HIT BALLISTIC TRANSPARENCIES
Bullet-resistant transparencies are made up of several layers of compositions consisting of various polycarbonate films. Features include anti-scratch coating and anti-spall protection. Protection levels are applied to customers' security requirements and will differentiate in thickness according to security level.
OPAQUE-MATERIAL ARMOUR
Only independently certified opaque materials are utilised during the construction of the armoured vehicle. Dual-Hardness Steel (DHS) is engineered into the safety cell of the vehicle so that all gaps between the main body and the doors are covered with overlaps (spall returns) preventing foreign projectiles or splinters from entering the passenger compartment.
Composite-formed materials (for example aramid), are applied to the concave areas such as the roof, as well as close confined areas. Test reports and certificates can be presented for all materials employed.
STANDARD SECURITY OPTIONS
The armoured limousine's technical data is as follows:
We are able to deliver a large range of security and comfort appointments. Personal preferences are fulfilled to individual tastes upon demand.

TIMELESS ELEGANCE AND CUSTOMISED DESIGN
Stoof International is able provide innovation and style independent of mainstream thinking. The aim is to present each vehicle with a unique interpretation based solely upon clientele inspiration. An exclusive selection of custom-made options is available upon request.
Stoof International has numerous armoured vehicles presently operating world-wide in extremely dangerous war-zone and crisis areas. We have utilised and analysed this valuable information gained from field visits and reports and incorporated these findings into the final product.
Vehicles are built within full compliance and in accordance to the protection levels per EN 1063 / EN 1522 / 1523 CEN European committee for standardisation regulations. In some instances, variations of classifications have been combined, providing, for example, a higher level of transparent-glass protection, such as STANAG level II 55mm glass.
