TenCate Liba

TenCate Liba is a patented advanced armour protective product, unique in it’s design. TenCate Liba is a flexible lightweight armour-protection consisting of specially designed ceramic pellets set in an elastic polymer. This combination provides an ultra strong and lightweight armour-protection. The material is robust and can withstand both the severe vibration incurred by military vehicles in transit and the violent impacts of explosions and firearms. TenCate Advanced Armour has developed TenCate Liba to be quickly and easily repairable, to promptly restore the full effectiveness of the armour-protection. TenCate Liba is a unique, thoroughly tested and approved armour-protection system.

TenCate Armourtex BM

TenCate Advanced Armour has designed a new composite armour solution - TenCate Armourtex BM - to defeat explosive formed projectiles generated from improvised explosive devices. The weight is less than half that of traditional steel armour (RHA) thus providing excellent protection of the men and women in the vehicle, while minimising the added weight to the vehicle. TenCate Advanced Armour aims at a system approach by working together with vehicle manufacturers in order to establish the optimal configuration for vehicle protection.

Insert plates and anti-ballistic shields

TenCate Ares is our segment for personnel protection solutions consisting of anti-ballistic shields and insert plates for body armour. These inserts are designed to significantly improve the degree of protection available from bullet-proof and fragmentation vests. Furthermore it provides the best possible protection against even multiple hits. Ballistic fabrics

TenCate Armourtex is our segment for high-performance fabrics, pre-impregnated fabrics and coated fabrics. The fabrics are used for personnel ballistic protection as well as for anti-fragment blankets. These fabrics ensure users all the benefits of lightweight all-in-one protection that is also weatherproof and flexible, resulting in greater comfort and longer endurance during operations.

TenCate Securit is our segment for civilian protection such as CIT (cash-in-transit) vehicles and fou-wheel-drive vehicles.
