MTL Group, a global contract manufacturer to the defence and aerospace sectors, exhibited for the first time this year at the prestigious Farnborough International Airshow. The exhibition was very successful for MTL, creating significant interest from some of the major OEMs in this sector.
Of particular interest was MTL’s new capability to waterjet cut materials up to 12m long by 200mm thick and its proven track record of managing multimillion pound contracts.
MTL process in excess of 20,000t of material per annum, including aluminium, titanium, stainless steels and carbon steels. In addition to this MTL also stock and process armox, hardox, weldox, and domex steels.
Sales director Karl Stewart said: "Farnborough International Airshow provided the perfect event to showcase new investments and has enabled the company to develop new business in the defence and aerospace sectors. MTL has invested in state-of-the-art equipment, which has enabled the group to enhance its capacity and capability to customers.
