To further enhance its foothold in the international defence market MTL Group exhibited at Eurosatory 2008, the international land, airland and homeland defence exhibition held at Paris, France in June 2008. This exhibition has proved successful, stimulating interest and enquiries from major European vehicle manufacturers. These companies recognise MTL as a major contract manufacturer and of particular interest was MTL's capacity, capability and experience of working with and stocking armour plate materials.
Following this exhibition, MTL has secured several high profile contracts from Europe, the Middle East and Asia for new vehicle build programmes and various UOR projects. This includes the supply of armoured plate kits for vehicle build, blast floors, appliqué armour, bar armour, bespoke perforated armour and fabricated stowage boxes.
