MTL at DVD Exhibition 2008

Following a successful year with several notable contract wins in the defence sector, MTL Group exhibited at the Defence Vehicles Dynamics (DVD) Exhibition in Millbrook, Bedfordshire, in June 2008.
To demonstrate this success, MTL has made the DVD exhibition a regular fixture on the summer calendar, increasing the stand size to accommodate its range of products. MTL is now regarded as one of the largest stockists and processors of armour plates in the UK and Europe.
MTL has grown to be a major supplier of armour plates into various defence vehicle applications on a worldwide basis. Typically, MTL supplies armoured vehicle kits, blast floors, appliqué armour, fabricated vehicle chassis, bar armour, perforated armour and fabricated stowage boxes in steel, and armoured aluminium.
Sales director, Karl Stewart, said: “DVD gives the company the opportunity to showcase our new equipment and the range of services available. Companies as far away as the USA, Middle East and Asia are now striking business relationships with us, which is an endorsement of our growing reputation in the global defence market.”
