Due to major contract wins in the defence and construction equipment markets, Sheffield-based contract manufacturing company MTL Group is on track to become a global supplier of Armour steel.
MTL exports Armour components and fabrications to customers in Europe, Asia, Africa and the US, and has now broken into the Middle East market as demand continues to grow.
Sales Director Karl Stewart said: "We have been working hard to develop our overseas markets and this has resulted in MTL being awarded prestigious contracts within the defence sector.
"We are supplying to the US, Asia, Europe and now the Middle East. Our growth is highlighted by our success in these overseas markets and we are now recognised as a trusted global supplier."
To further develop business in the overseas defence markets, MTL Group will exhibit at the DVD Exhibition in June and the DSEi Exhibition in September.
