VEHICLE-PROTECTIVE STRIKE FACE

The ceramor strike face for vehicle protection can be applied on installed ballistic steel, or in a stand-alone capacity. It is designed with advanced anti-detection features, and the highest possible level of protection, with hits as close as 5cm apart when tested on a steel support with or without internal liner.

Strike face, a unique added-value technology, can be used with any ceramic, and allows integrators to achieve higher ballistic performance at ultra-light areal densities.

VEHICLE ARMOUR TILES AND KITS

Morgan Armour can produce a large range of vehicle armour tiles made of silicon carbide in a variety of shapes and sizes, and provide vehicle armour kits to ensure an increased rate and reduced assembly costs.

VEHICLE ARMOURED PANELS

Ceramor modular add-on or stand-alone armoured panels are designed for each specific application such as light armoured vehicles and commercial VIP vehicles.

Similar to personal plates, the hexagonal ceramic tile array is encased in the patented polymer spall and shock absorber, which act together to produce enhanced survivability against threats ranging from 7.62mm to 14.5mm API B-32 projectiles at a spacing of 3in (STANAG 4569 level 4).

Ceramor functional oxide-based composite increases fracture toughness, while the hardness and strength of the alumina are preserved or improved. The polycarbonate spall cover in the front and the fibre reinforced shock absorber in the back confine the ceramic component for enhanced ballistic performance.
