Mezcal Security’s armouring facilities are located in Bogota-Colombia, where we have the capacity to armour up to 40 vehicle a month, from B2 to B6 levels.

Armoured vehicles

A vehicle in which the armouring is not readily visible will be able to blend into the civilian traffic flow more easily and stands less chance of being singled out and targeted: because of this, discretion and appearance are every bit as important to a vehicle's security as quality of armour. Subsequently, when armouring a vehicle, Mezcal Security always ensures that the original appearance and handling qualities of the vehicle are left intact, and that the glass elements remain aesthetically true to their original appearance.

We provide our customers with an optimum service and spare parts support globally, either directly from our our facilities, from our partners' workshops, or through on-site engineering services.

Vehicle custom-armouring services

Depending on the level of protection and location of our customers, the average turnaround time for custom-armouring a vehicle is between 60 and 90 days. We customise vehicles with some of the highest grade materials available on the market, including aramid, armoured glass and high-strength steel to ensure that a vehicle is protected against threats including military grade and high-power small arms fire, in accordance with the British BS 5051, European EN 1063 and NTC 1417 regulations, and the international regulation UL752 and European DIN.

Ballistic protective clothing

Mezcal has the necessary skill and experience to satisfy specific client requirements with the creation of personalized clothing, offering garments manufactured using state-of-the-art technology and conforming to the highest levels of international protection standards. We offer five lines of specialized personal protection apparel:

For VIPs such as heads of state, senior executives and celebrities, conventional body armour may not be the most flattering or practical form of protection. Mezcal's Black Label range is a simple and elegant line of protective clothing made with high-quality state-of the-art materials. Black Label protective clothing ensures an unprecedented level of discretion, flexibility and comfort without compromising protective quality. It is also extremely lightweight, and is designed to maximize comfort by maintaining the wearer's body temperature at a comfortable 13-17 degrees centigrade.

Discrete casual ballistic protective clothing

Mezcal's Gold range of protective clothing is designed to be as comfortable and lightweight as possible whilst ensuring the wearer's protection. Like the Black Label range, this line of custom made protective casual wear is specifically engineered to ensure a wearer's body temerature remains at a comfortable 13-17 degrees C.

Professional protective apparel

Developed especially for private security companies, Mezcal's Silver range of protective apparel is designed to express the professional and corporate image of private sector security firms including bodyguard agencies, cash-in-transit companies and security guards. The Silver range offers protection up to NIJ Level IIIA, making it capable of protecting against military-grade small arms fire.
