Jeet Glass - Bulletproof Vehicles, Glass and Armour

Jeet Glass is the oldest manufacturer and supplier of bulletproof vehicles, bulletproof glass and other armoured products in India. Started in 1974, Jeet Glass has pioneered itself in making world-class armoured products. These include armoured vehicles (troop carriers, bomb disposal vehicles, bulletproof passenger vehicles, armoured reconnaissance vehicles and other security vehicles), bulletproof glass, explosion-resistant glass, ballistic shields and other allied armoured products.

In 1998, Jeet Glass signed an MoU with Defence R&D Org and the Indian government, becoming their industrial partner for manufacturing and supplying bulletproof products.

Bulletproof and explosion-resistant glass

Having state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities combined with over three decades of experience, Jeet Glass manufactures combat-proved, thin and lightweight armoured transparencies for land transportation, sea transportation, aviation, defence and the building industry.

Bulletproof glass and explosion-resistant glass is generally supplied as per NIJ 0108.01, STANAG 4569, UL 752 and custom-defined threat levels in large sizes up to 3,200mm x 5,300mm. Specific requirements of built-in antennas, heaters, etc. can be met for the transport industry.

With increasing threats from explosions, explosion-resistant glass is installed in critical building locations worldwide.

Bulletproof passenger vehicles

Jeet Glass provides armouring of high-end passenger vehicles for VVIPs' security up to B7 threat level, and user-defined requirements (LHD or RHD vehicles). With its in-house armour transparency manufacturing facility, it enables armouring to be performed in the shortest period of time and with 100% reliability.

With opaque armour imported from the world's best manufacturer, Jeet Glass ensures the utmost quality and reliability, saving human lives. Ballistic testing of its products is generally carried out by approved Indian government laboratories as per international norms, and can also be tested at other international-accredited laboratories.

Armoured vehicles and accessories

Jeet Glass supplies ready-to-use armoured vehicles. Based on customer request, armoured vehicles are manufactured for up to B7 threat using opaque armour, or with multi-hit capabilities or lightweight composites. With flexible options of incorporating firing ports, run-flat systems, tyre inflation systems, rotary turrets and anti-landmine floors, Jeet Glass supplies armoured vehicles with cutting-edge technologies.

Jeet Glass has supplied many vehicles to terrorist-affected areas, helping peacekeeping forces to flush out terrorists.

Ballistic shields and armoured guardrooms

Jeet Glass manufactures specialised products for personnel security during surveillance of critical building locations. Custom-manufactured bulletproof guardrooms or ballistic shelters provide security against high-calibre weapons in the case of terrorist attacks or explosions, and enable firing from inside with a clear view of the outside through splinter-free bulletproof glass. Anti-ricochet coating can be applied on the exterior surface to help further protect personnel.

Bulletproof lecterns and podiums

VVIPs are prone to high risk during large public rallies, testing the resources of security forces. Jeet Glass manufactures thermally insulated, fire-retardant, easy-to-install bulletproof lecterns and podiums.

Bulletproof lecterns comprise a small stage with built-in fan and lighting arrangements. This gives a clear view from inside as well as outside, making it an invisible security wall.

Bulletproof podiums comprise a large stage of opaque steel (bulletproof) panels, and extra clear bulletproof glass. They have a large floor area of 6ft x 8ft, and a height of 7ft. Separate packing cases make them easy to install.

Self-sealing fuel tanks

By using a specially designed coating, a fuel tank is prevented from leakage, which often happens in case of ballistic attacks. The coating can be applied on most military vehicles' fuel tanks, and manufactured as per your specifications and drawings. The coating is good enough to prevent fuel seepage against ballistic threats of high-powered ammunition including 7.62mm M80, 7.62mm AP and 5.56mm.
