Armour for military vehicles

Triple-S provides armor plating for US fighting vehicles seen on the battlefield today. Military vehicles that Triple-S has provided armouring solutions for include the Stryker armored combat vehicle, the HMMWV, the Bradley armoured fighting vehicle and the RG33 mine-resistant ambush vehicle (MRAP). Our armor is certified US DoD specifications including MIL-A-46100, MIL-A-46177 and MIL-A-12560 standards, and provides protection from small arms fire, RPGs and IED strikes.

Armour for military structures

Industry-certified steel armour plates

S3 armor plates are subject to stringent ballistic testing by both the military and commercial independent testing facilities before being qualified and approved for use.

S3 ballistic armor manufacturing facilities are approved to MIL-I-45208A and ISO 9002. S3 ballistic steels are available in thicknesses up to 6in and are offered with variable toughness, hardness, and workable characteristics dependent upon your end use requirements. We can furnish ballistic steel in either flat stock plates or formed and finished processed parts.
