Streit Manufacturing is an internationally renowned manufacturer of custom-designed armoured vehicles, ranging from light armoured vehicles, buses, Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) and luxury vehicles to cash-in-transit vans and trucks.

Originally opened in Toronto, Canada, Streit has enjoyed continual growth, resulting in the possession of production facilities in both North America and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Due to an increasing demand, based on the quality and pricing of our vehicles, we are now expanding our operations in the Middle East, and are presently the largest independent manufacturer and distributor of armoured vehicles in the region.

Armoured-personnel carriers and armoured buses

Streit's armoured-personnel carriers are specifically designed for military utilisation: they are capable of returning fire in a combat situation, making them extremely effective in protecting convoy vehicles.

Streit's armoured-personnel carriers are constructed on a proven, fully-customised F-550 platform chassis. The 325hp provided by their 6l diesel engine and 4x4 configuration gives these vehicles a 130km/h sustainable highway speed even when carrying a full crew.

Our armoured buses are ideal for employee transport in danger zones. These armoured buses have a capacity of 10-15 passengers and are built on a Ford E-450 platform.

Armoured sport utility vehicles

We offer an extensive range of armoured sport utility vehicles, including Toyota Land Cruisers, Chevrolet Suburbans, Ford Excursions and the BMW X series. All our SUVs are fully armoured and provide a protection level of CEN B6 without attracting special attention.

In addition to our standard rigorous tests, Streit's armoured sport utility vehicles have been successfully utilised in the world's most dangerous areas, and no casualties have yet been suffered.

The Toyota Land Cruiser has proven itself the most trusted and utilised armoured vehicle in the Middle East over a long period of time. With a large variety of models (G, GX, GXR and VXR) and options, the Land Cruiser is used by non-governmental organisations, private security companies, and for conveyance of heads of state.

Due to the high demand for this vehicle, we always possess a large stock ready to be swiftly delivered.

Armoured trucks and pick-up trucks (CEN-B6)

As an armouring platform, the Ford F-350 is ideal for agencies involved in a wide range of tasks, from convoy protection to oil-field and diamond mine servicing (with or without gun box).

Its 'on-demand' four-wheel drive system and powerful engine-configuration make the armoured Ford F-350 a vehicle that is both passenger-friendly and practical for use in any off-road environment.

The new Mercedes Actros provides a combination of the comfort and features of the Mercedes truck with the protection needed by the commercial carrier industry in hostile environments.

Our armoured Toyota Hilux makes an excellent mid-sized pick-up truck with a large spectrum of applications. With the addition of an armoured cargo box, this 4x4 vehicle can be used from transportation of sensitive electronic equipment to cash-in-transit units. It is an excellent choice for on-road and off-road use.

We also provide a multi-purpose troop transport vehicle (MTTV), fully armoured to B6 or B7 level from engine to cabin to troop-transport compartment.

Armoured VIP vehicles

Our BMW 7 and X Series, Mercedes S Class and Cadillac Escalade vehicles are designed and manufactured, down to the smallest detail, with exceptional craftsmanship so that they will not attract extra attention due to its bullet-proof construction.

The powerful gas engines, together with the automatic transmission and electronic assisted traction control, give you the power and speed to get out of dangerous situations unharmed and in style. They provide CEN-B6 protection.

Cash-in-transit vehicles

Streit Manufacturing's cash-in-transit vehicles range from Ford E-350 vans to our heavy-duty international and freightliner trucks. The standard design of these vehicles provides protection level CEN B4, but we can also manufacture custom orders for protection levels of up to CEN B6.

Beside the standard interior and safety design, we also provide personalised features to meet the specific requirements of every customer.

Special-operation units, special-application vehicles and speciality-unit vehicles

Streit Manufacturing and Streit Security Vehicles also manufacture and distribute a variety of custom armoured special-operation units, special-application vehicles and speciality-unit vehicles for different types of special applications, including ambulance and riot control services, and SWAT units.
