Saymar - Armoured Vehicle Upgrades, Refurbishment and Manufacturing

ARMOURED VEHICLES UPGRADING

The company offers a wide range of wheeled armoured vehicles – including 4x4s, 6x6s and 8x8s – for riot control, peacekeeping missions, etc..

Our affordable, extensive programmes refurbish and upgrade military vehicles deployed for many years worldwide, among them the M113 tracked APC, EE-11 URUTU 6x6 wheeled APC, PANHARD VBL reconnaissance vehicle, EE-9 CASCAVEL, ELAND 90, AML 90 and AML 60 light tanks.

Saymar can conduct projects either in the costumer's country or at our plant in Israel.

MILITARY VEHICLES SPARES

Saymar supplies a complete range of military vehicle spare parts for a wide range of vehicles from various origins, mainly the USA, UK, France, Brazil and Russia.

These include all vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, suspensions and other automotive-system parts; turret controls; fire controls; optics; electrical devices; tools; accessories, etc.

Our spare parts suit the M-113 APC family; M548 carriers; SPG M-109s, M107s and M110s; M41, M48 and M60 / 60A1 / 60A3 tanks; CENTURION tank derivatives; AMX-13 light tanks; T54 / 55 / 62 tanks in BTR and BRDM variants; EE9 CASCAVELs; and EE11 URUTUs.

We also supply a full range of spare parts and maintenance capabilities for AML 60 / 90 armoured cars – including the turret F1 main gun and its recoil mechanism – and spare parts for M115, M114, M114A1, M59, F1 90mm and EC90.towed howitzers and tank guns.

GENDA MK IIA 4X4 ARMOURED VEHICLE

The GENDA MK IIA is a unique development of Saymar. The GENDA MK II is a light 4x4 armored vehicle designed for a wide range of missions, including anti-terror, internal security and reconnaissance.

The GENDA MK II is constructed of a detachable all-welded steel armor body, providing passengers with B6 and STANAG 4569 LEVEL 1 ballistic protection from ball-type small firearms and shell splinters. The protected engine compartment provides enhanced survivability for vehicle and passengers alike.

GENDA 4X4 ARMOURED VEHICLE SPECIFICATIONS

The GENDA possesses an OM-617 derived engine and a G-18/5 five-forward and one-reverse gearbox, with overdrive. The engine has 101hp at 3,200rpm

The front axle is an independent type with one solid torsion bar on each side; the rear a tubular fully floating type live axle. The run-flat tyres are 7.50 x R16.

The front suspension is an independent, solid torsion bar; the rear is semi-elliptic, and has parabolic leaf springs. Both have a hydraulic telescopic shock-absorber and anti-roll bar.

There are two side doors with windows and one rear door with window. The doors have wide openings and are easy to operate. A rotating hatch on the roof provides a firing position. An easy opening rear door ensures quick embarking and disembarking.

A light machine-gun or grenade launcher is mounted on a weapon station with 360° coverage. The crew's personal weapons can be operated through five port openings.

Auxiliary equipment includes:

  • Rear observation camera
  • Air conditioning system
  • Searchlight
  • Beacon

The gross vehicle weight is 3,750kg, and the payload 1,000kg. The dimensions are:

  • Length: 4,132mm
  • Width: 1,852mm
  • Height: 2,050mm
  • Ground clearance: 235mm

GENDA PERFORMANCE AND PROTECTION

  • Approach angle: 40°
  • Departure angle: 35°

The vehicle protection consists of a detachable armoured capsule attached to the vehicle chassis, which provides the vehicle with all around (360°) protection, including the engine compartment. The ballistic protection level is 360° B6 and STANAG 4569 Level 1 compliant.

The bottom and undercarriage provides protection against the blast of at least a grenade under the vehicle.

The vehicle also provides:

  • Front-protected machine-gun station
  • Run-flat tyres
  • Protected spare tyre located inside the vehicle
  • Protected fuel tank
