Plasan Presents it’s New Design for AM General UP-Armoured HMMWV

At the upcoming Eurosatory Exhibition, Plasan Sasa will present it’s new design for AM General UP-armoured HMMWV. The HMMWV was designed in accordance with the specifications of the Greek customer, Messrs. Elvo, for the Greek army. The armour design is unique and the armour solution is exceptionally lightweight.
After application of the armour solution, the Hummer still has a payload of 1330kgs., enabling the crew to function with all options in defense of the vehicle. This vehicle meets stringent field function as well as ballistic requirements, including mine protection.
This design has been approved by the manufacturer, making Plasan Sasa one of the only two approved suppliers of armour by AM General. In addition, this design for the Hummer has received a stock number from NATO.
Plasan will unveil other new technical solutions at the exhibition, including innovative designs derived from continuous experience in urban environments of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The Plasan exhibition will be located at the I.N.P. f43/13
