The King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau (KADDB) and five of its Joint Venture Companies have recently announced their participation at the Defence Systems and Equipment International Exhibition (DSEi) 2007 to be held in Excel London, UK during September 11th – 14th, with a double storey booth of 135m² (1621).
KADDB's participation in the DSEi 2007 is the second of its kind to this exhibition as a result of the huge success achieved in 2005’s event and other participations in Defence exhibitions in Europe and Asia. In the past couple of years KADDB and its joint venture companies have exhibited in various exhibitions other than DSEi 2005; Eurosatory Exhibition, Paris, International Defence Exhibition and Conference, Abu Dhabi, SOFEX, Amman, International Defence Exhibition & Seminar, Karachi, and 8th International Defence Industry Fair, Ankara.
KADDB and its joint venture companies' participation encompasses models of wheeled and tracked vehicles, electric equipment and services, helmets and body armours, and heavy duty boots, as well as demonstrative videos for other products and service.
KADDB will be exhibiting 3D models of the Challenger 1 Upgrade Programme, the Stallion Scout vehicle, and the Tha'lab Long Range Patrol Vehicle which is a product of Jordan Light Vehicle Manufacturing (JLVM) another KADDB Joint Venture Company.
Companies participating at DSEi 2007 under KADDB's name include CLS Jordan (CLSJ) who will be exhibiting a completely new vehicle control station( including steering mechanism, drivers instrument panel, and electrical system components) for the upgraded M60 A3 tank, the Jordanian Company for Manufacturing Specialised Boots will be displaying a wide range of heavy duty boots, and The King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC) will be showing models of the facilities currently under construction, Middle Ease Defence Systems (MDS) will be exhibiting a model of the Marauder, a mine protected 4X4 armoured vehicle, and NP Aerospace Jordan who are exhibiting a wide range of helmets, body armour and ceramic plates.
KADDB considers its participation at DSEi 2007 an opportunity to have maximum exposure to decision makers and key players in the industry, by promoting the products, services and capabilities of both the bureau and its joint venture companies and to target new investment opportunities as well as enhance relationships with current and previous contacts.
