Armouring a commercial platform vehicle to the highest available CEN B7 level and protecting it against armour piercing rounds is a complex process.

This is due to the significantly thicker and heavier armouring materials (CEN B7 transparent and opaque armour are approximately two-times thicker than the CEN B6 equivalent).

Another challenge is to maintain the OEM look and handling of the vehicle after the B7 armour application.

IAG has reengineered its existing B7 armouring design for the Toyota Land Cruiser to incorporate curved ballistic glass with full door overlaps that closely match the OEM.

New luxury heavy duty custom-made door panels maintain the high-end look and feel of the vehicle.

As with the previous design, all IAG B7 armoured vehicles feature advanced performance suspension and brake systems designed for the specific application.
