Levels of Ballistic Protection

In high risk areas such as Iraq and Afghanistan, most armoured vehicles are built to the B6 level of protection, able to withstand multiple 7.62mm x 51mm M80 rounds using 6mm ballistic steel.

Instead, IAG offers B6+ vehicles with 6.5mm armouring, providing a higher level of protection.

In addition, IAG also offers B6++ vehicles to counter the 'car body' effect of 5.56mm x 45mm SS109 and 7.62mm x 54mmR rounds as well as provide optimal blast protection.

IAG B7 level vehicles are also available with armouring that is able to withstand multiple 7.62mm x 51mm armour piercing rounds, a feature not commonly found within the industry.
