Radio Waves is an industry leader in microwave antenna innovation, known globally as a proven supplier of innovative, high quality, reliable microwave antennas. With an extensive product offering covering 1.5GHz to 86GHz, Radio Waves designs and manufacturers these antenna system products from its Billerica, Massachusetts headquarters for fixed broadband wireless applications, wireless internet service providers, cellular base station interconnects, military and government applications, campus environments, private networks, public networks and electronic newsgathering systems. Radio Waves can also manufacture SP and HP parabolic antennas at our facility in London, UK.

Radio Waves has developed a number of firsts in the microwave antenna industry, including the first integrated 'slip-fit' microwave antenna design, the first LMDS hub antenna to meet stringent CS2 requirements and the first WiMax sector antennas.

PARABOLIC ANTENNAS

Radio Waves offers the SPX-4.7NS series of parabolic microwave dish antennas, which covers from 4.4GHz to 5GHz. These antennas cover a number of services including the public safety band of 4,940MHz to 4,990MHz, the NATO military service band and a number of other international bands in the 4.4GHz – 5GHz range utilized for public safety and other government applications in certain countries. The SPX-4.7NS series of microwave dishes is available in all sizes from 1ft to 8ft in diameter. Like all Radio Waves antennas, the quality level is so high we can offer a five-year warranty.

SECTOR ANTENNAS

Radio Waves manufacturers the most complete line of 802.11 and 802.16 WiMAX sector antennas in the industry. Sector antennas are available that cover 2.1GHz – 2.7GHz, 3.3GHz to 3.8GHz, 4.4GHz to 5GHz and 5.15GHz to 5.85GHz. These sectors offer robust construction that provides years of trouble free service. These antennas are made in the US and have a five-year warranty. Additionally, they are available with different gains and beam widths to help optimize network performance.

GRID ANTENNAS

Radio Waves offers the GX-4.7NS series which covers from 4.4GHz to 5GHz. These heavy duty and reliable grid antennas cover a number of services including the public safety band of 4,940MHz to 4,990MHz, the NATO military service band and a number of other international bands in the 4.4GHz to 5GHz range utilized for public safety and other government applications in certain countries. The GX-4.7NS series of microwave dishes is available in a two, three and four foot diameter grids. A five-year warranty is offered.

SPECIAL ANTENNA APPLICATIONS

Radio Waves can work with your team to develop specific microwave antennas for special applications such as integrated antennas that can mate with a specific radio ODU or specific paint schemes to help camouflage antennas such as our CloakWave series of antennas.

For applications involving portable technology, omnidirectional and sectorized antennas can be deployed for a mobile or portable application. The omnidirectional antennas cover single bands, and are extremely small and lightweight, offering a mobile solution without the need for a telescoping mast for the antenna. Sector antennas offer a higher gain approach and are available in single and dual-band models.
