Cobham Mast Systems (formerly known as Mastsystem Int’l Oy) is a company which designs, manufactures and markets mobile telescopic light weight composite masts and mast systems. We have delivered thousands of masts and hundreds of different solutions worldwide - from plain masts to complete mast systems including antenna pointing devices and vehicle mounting systems. The carbon and glass fibre composite masts have been proven to meet the environmental requirements in accordance with the MIL-STD 810 and they operate efficiently in all extremes of environmental conditions. Our quality system fulfils the requirements of ISO 9001 and AQAP 2110 standards. Telescopic mastsCobham Mast Systems manufactures five main product series: TM, TR, EX, EXL and EXB-masts including needed accessories to deploy and guide the mast. We have delivered masts from the height of a few meters up to fifty meters. In addition to several standard mast types we manufacture tailor-made masts to meet the individual requirements. Detailed technical information is available on request. In addition to masts we manufacture tripods and different ancillaries such as extension tubes, rotators, tilters, polarizers, winch power units, gin poles and mounting kits for vehicles and containers. We are also ready to design and manufacture different customer specific products to be included in delivered systems. EXL-mastsEXL series of light weight telescopic masts are mechanical winch and belt operated masts. EXL series are designed for larger and heavier top loads and are available in two sizes: EXL167 series is for heights 15-30 meters with max 60kg top load and EXL195 series for heights 20M - 50m with max 120kg top load. EXL series are made of reinforced carbon and glass fibre composite material with aluminium and stainless steel fittings. EX-mastsEX series of light weight telescopic masts are mechanical winch and belt operated masts. EX series is available in three sizes: EX105 series is for heights 8m - 15m with max 30kg top load, EX128 series for heights 10m - 18m with max 50kg top load and EX141 series is for heights 10m - 20m with max 50kg top load. EX series are made of reinforced carbon and glass fibre composite material with aluminium and stainless steel fittings. TR-mastsTR series of light weight telescopic masts are push-up masts for heights up to 12m and for 3kg - 5kg top loads. Mast sections are pushed out vertically and a clamp under each mast section’s stop ring locks the sections in place. TR series are made of glass fibre tubes with stainless steel and aluminium latches. TM-mastsTM series of light weight telescopic masts are push-up masts for heights up to 7m and for 3kg - 5kg top loads. Mast sections are pushed out vertically and locked in place with mechanical latches. TM series are made of glass fibre tubes with thermo plastic fittings. EXB-mastsEXB series of double drum driven telescopic masts are mechanical winch and belt operated masts. EXB series are designed for larger and heavier top loads for through-the-roof vehicle installations for heights up to 10m with max 60kg top load. The mast can be used unguyed. EXL series are made of glass fibre composite material with aluminium and stainless steel fittings. Accessories and ancillariesEach mast system is supplied with a full field deployment accessory kit to enable easy mast deployment and fast tear down. Mast accessories are designed for easy and comfortable deployment in all weather conditions even in the severe environment. Accessory kits are packed in all-weather tarpaulin bags. Cobham Mast Systems also provide a complete range of ancillaries for example antenna-pointing devices, antenna brackets and transportation kits.
