GEROH specialises in the design, development, testing and production of a broad spectrum of highly qualified mechanical mast systems for the armed forces, including mobile lattice towers and tubular masts. GEROH’s team spirit and highly qualified workforce ensure that consistency, quality, reliability and flexibility are some of the natural attributes taken for granted at the company. Lattice towers and tubular masts for military, fire brigade, radio and telecom applicationsHigh-grade GEROH products all have the same basic concept founded on high mobility, long service life, small break-down rate and extreme user convenience. The products are employed by the German Army, NATO and many other militaries as well as fire brigades, radio stations and telecom companies. GEROH product families include:
Mobile lattice towersGEROH produces mobile mast systems for heights of up to around 45m and pay loads up to 1,000kg. Even with high wind-speeds, operation without guy wires with directional radio accuracy is no problem. The individual stages of the mast are made from aluminium and form a structure with a high load capacity whose design is adapted to the area of application. The drives for the patented automatic levelling system, for the support feet and for the mast function, are all electro-mechanical. Lattice tower facilities include:
Wire-driven square tube mastsGEROH’s square tube masts with wire drives are produced for heights of up to 20m and for pay loads up to 70kg. Due to the automatic locking devices of the aluminium tube stages the masts offer high-rated load ability in vertical direction. The use of special square tubes ensures direction-finding radio accuracy even in case of increased requirements. A lightweight version with optimisation in weight completes the product range. Spindle-driven tubular mastsGEROH’s tubular masts with spindle drives are used whenever high requirements are placed on stability in high wind speeds. Spindle masts are best operated without guy wires and can carry a pay load of up to 300kg. Standard heights of up to approximately 18m can be supplied. Closed tolerated, thick-walled aluminium tubes give these systems extreme accuracy concerning torsion and inclination. They are driven by concentric arranged spindles and are covered safely inside the tower.
