FAUN Trackway Limited, the leading manufacturer of portable roadways and runways, has recruited a product support engineer and a business development manager for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

Neil Wigley has been hired as product support engineer and will be responsible for product demonstrations, manuals, and warranty provision. He’ll also be training end-users to become FAUN Trackway’s operators and maintainers to facilitate use around the world to aid military and disaster-relief missions.

Neil previously worked as the service team manager at Mercedes Benz, and spent 13 years as a royal engineer.

Michael Jordan has been employed as the company’s EMEA business development manager.

Mr Jordan has joined the firm from Pearson Engineering. He will be the driving force behind generating new sales leads in the region and act as the main point of contact for clients.

Michael has a great deal of experience in the EMEA region, particularly with combat engineers within military environments.

The appointments come at a period of growth for FAUN Trackway Limited, which in December hired a sales administrator and created the new position of financial controller to sit on the management team.

The company also recently reached a key milestone in its 60-year history with the production of the 100th and 50th units of its key product components, which form part of FAUN’s portable, temporary runway solutions.

FAUN Trackway Limited managing director Chris Kendall said: "We are committed to maintaining our exceptional service, and Neil and Michael’s appointments mark an exciting time for the company.

"I look forward to them joining our team here in Anglesey."
