Anglesey-based FAUN Trackway, the leading manufacturer of portable roadways and runways, is continuing its sponsorship of Llangefni Rugby Football Club (RFC) for a second season.

Llangefni plays at Cae Smyrna. It is host to two rugby union senior sides and a youth team as well as several junior squads, with players as young as eight-years-old.

Llangefni RFC also boasts a rich heritage with former players including Wales international, George North.

This season, the club has won the championship and secured promotion into the top tier of North Wales rugby, where it will be competing in the Division One North. The sponsorship by FAUN Trackway will be used to support the club in training and fixtures over the 2015/16 season.

FAUN Trackway’s heritage is deeply embedded in North Wales. The company was based in Beaumaris for more than 60 years before moving 12 miles down the road to a state-of-the-art facility in Llangefni in 2007.

FAUN Trackway CEO Chris Kendall said: "Grassroots rugby can typically struggle to acquire funding so we wanted to continue our successful relationship with Llangefni RFC to ensure that they can continue in their winning ways.

"Our history in Anglesey and our commitment to helping local causes means this partnership remains a natural fit.

"We wish them all the best of luck in their new league and are looking forward to following them once the season starts back up again."
